Planned Parenthood rejects Trump proposal to stop abortion services
This Monday, Planned Parenthood, a women's health organization, rejected a proposal by Trump to cut funding for abortions. Around $500 million annually is given to Planned Parenthood, and the idea is to cut this, and slow down abortions performed..
Yet Planned Parenthood firmly rejected this idea, saying that all the none of the money they receive is used for abortions, and that abortions are only 3% of what they do. But an in depth study revealed that Planned Parenthood performs 30% of all abortions in the US, and that al least 60% of all their services is abortions.
From a Biblical perspective, this is a big problem in the US, because it is taking one's life, and that is wrong, no matter the age. I think this is a good representation of the conflict between the Liberals, and the (mostly) Conservative people. I think Trump was attempting to do the right thing, and although he received a lot a pushback, the amount of support wasn't small either. I would continue to be hopeful that Trump wouldn't stop pushing in this area, and that people would realize that abortions aren't right.
